The release of Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey has been postponed by a week to April 22 to avoid a clash with KGF: Chapter 2. The sports drama was scheduled to release on April 14. “As a team, we have put our blood sweat, and tears into Jersey and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April,” producer Aman Gill said in a statement, reports news agency PTI.
The film release date was postponed earlier in December due to Covid 19 omicron variant. The film stars actors Pankaj Kapur, Shahid Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur.
