When asked about people being excited to watch the on-screen chemistry of the new pair, Deepika said, “Have you seen us? I’ve always wanted to work with him,” she continued, “but I feel like, you know, sometimes it’s not just about wanting to work with someone.
It has to be the right script, it has to be the right director, it has to be the right period in your life, I just feel like there are so many things. There are numerous factors that influence the outcome. I suppose now is the best time for us to get together.”
Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand is presently working on Pathaan, a highly awaited film starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, and John Abraham. He plans to move on to Fighter after finishing the film’s post-production. Anil Kapoor, who is now filming the adaptation of The Night Manager, also has a significant role in the film.
