Manushi belongs to a Haryanvi family. Her father, Dr. Mitra Basu Chhillar, is a physician and scientist in DRDO. Her mother, Dr. Neelam Chhillar, is also a doctor at the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences.
